"What do you say about Zoe Cox and the keyboard cabin?
well I'll start with the facts, Zoe took a boy who had been playing keyboard from the age of 7 till 10 then fell out of love with music for 18 months not even looking at his keyboard and in the space of an hour gave him structure, boundaries, knowledge and best of all inspiration! My son attends for 2hrs a week in one go and cannot get out of the car fast enough when we arrive outside"the cabin". Always last out of the class he respects Zoe's knowledge and soaks up her words like a hoover, thanks to Zoe he is flying through the grades both practical and theoretical and has been guided, again by Zoe 1st towards the Cello and latterly the Oboe. Where did all my spare time go? Thanks Zoe you have helped to mould a fine young man! "

"I attended piano lessons when I was very young and unfortunately didn't keep them up. I decided last year to try keyboard lessons and phoned the Keyboard Cabin for information. "My earliest memory of receiving training in music as a child was of being received by a stern 70 something witch who complained shrilly every time I made a mistake or took time to understand her instructions! Getting a good teacher can be hit and miss as there are many out there that really know their music but can`t teach. Not so Zoe Cox and Keyboard Cabin! Here we have a gifted tutor and well run classes. Three of my children have benefitted from her tutorage - they enjoy their lessons and want to do well for themselves because Mrs Cox makes them feel good about learning to play the piano. "I started at keyboard cabin last September to complete 12 months of my skills for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. 13 months on and I'm still there! I've always wanted to play an instrument, but I have quite a short attention span sometimes and end up getting bored. When I came to the Keyboard Cabin I was worried it would be like the keyboard lessons I had when I was younger, where I sat in a ladies living room and tried to play while she went off and had a cup of tea, but I really enjoyed it. It has a good atmosphere and a friendly teacher. Zoe's a great teacher, she's helpful, kind and we have some good laughs. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to pick up the keyboard or who just wants to try something new."
